Finest Ingredients
Our customers appreciate that our pasta is comprised of 100% organic and
non-GMO project verified ingredients free of fillers and additives.
Rather than the high-gluten wheat grown in Canada and the United States,
our ingredients are organically grown in Italy. We source whole durum wheat
from small Italian farms and the wheat is freshly milled before production.
The bionature product line includes gluten free pasta as well.
The newest version has three additional grams of protein and contains no soy.
Local Production
The small-scale organic farms in Italy practice a time-honored methodology.
After the wheat is harvested, it travels a short distance to the pasta
factory where it is freshly milled before production. Using bronze, not Teflon,
machinery to form the varied pasta shapes results in pasta with a coarser
surface to better absorb your sauce. A slow-drying technique at a low temperature
serves to retain nutrients and flavor.
Environmentally Friendly
The farm-to-factory process avoids the adverse environmental impact of
shipping ingredients from North America to Italy where the distinctive whole
wheat pasta is manufactured. We deliver our products to consumers in packaging
void of plastic and BPA. This benefits not only the environment but also the
integrity and wholesomeness of the contents.
